In Bulgaria, comprehensive research and practical experiments of loess-cement have been started in the sixties last century Geological Institute Bulgarian Academy Sciences later an extensive application has taken place mainly foundation works irrigation facilities. It found phase transformations C–S–H cementitious mass inter-aggregate pore space resulted denser microstructure higher strength curing.
